Vice-Chairman of the Emergency Committee formed by the Presidential Council (PC), Othman Abdul Jalil reviewed Saturday with the head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Ghassan Salame the latest developments in the capital Tripoli.

This came during a meeting held at the UN mission HQ in Tripoli in the presence of representatives of a number of United Nations organizations.

The Emergency Committee confirmed its continuation to monitor the situation in all its humanitarian aspects and to cooperate with all ministries in order to overcome the bottlenecks and provide the necessary support to the displaced.

For its part, the UN Mission expressed its willingness to provide technical support to municipalities in establishing a database for the displaced persons.
