Vice President of the Presidential Council (PC) Ahmad Maiteeq discussed Tuesday with the European Union Ambassador to Libya, Alan Bugeja, collaboration in the area of provision of assistance to municipalities, border administration, and the development of municipal guards.

The meeting dealt with a number of files related to political and security cooperation and the steps taken by the PC in implementing the economic reforms program, according to the PC's Information Department.

For his part, the EU ambassador praised the PC's efforts to achieve stability and security, expressing the European Union's desire to cooperate in the areas mentioned, according to the statement.
