Member of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohamed Amari Zayed reviewed with the Ambassador of Italy to Libya Giuseppe Buccino ties of cooperation between the two countries in the political and economic fields.
The two sides discussed during a meeting held in Tripoli on Wednesday the Italian government's support for a number of vital projects, implemented by Italian companies in Libya, in addition to coordination with the relevant Libyan ministries to finish these projects.
Talks also covered the political process in Libya and preparation for the UN-backed National Conference, reiterating the need for a political solution for the Libyan crisis.
