Vice President of the Presidential Council (PC) Ahmed Maiteeq met with the Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Matteo Salvini in Rome on Wednesday, as part of the preparations for the Palermo conference on the Libyan crisis, which will be hosted by Italy in Palermo, the capital of Sicily on November 13-12.
The meeting dealt with a number of joint files between the two countries, the most important of which are the economic developments and combating terrorism and illegal immigration, as well as cooperation between the two countries, according to the Information Office of the PC.
