The Presidential Council (PC) said Wednesday that it will take deterrent measures against the "brutal aggression of the gangs of mercenaries" that violate the south of Libya coming from outside the border.
In a statement, the PC praised those who perished in the fight against these gangs in the Mountain of Ghunaima, and the courage of the people of the south in repelling this aggression.
The PC renewed his call to align the ranks and continue efforts to resolve the political dispute, as well as the unifying of the military establishment, as the utmost necessity to protect the homeland and repel the aggressors, according to the statement.
