The Presidential Council has condemned the bombing of the House of Representatives HQ by the forces of warlord Khalifa Haftar late Thursday, causing material damage.
The PC underscored in a statement that the airstrike on parliament is a grave violation of international and humanitarian law which prohibits attacks on civilians, residential areas, and civilian facilities.
"The targeting of the legislators’ premises is an attempt to silence the voice of the people's representatives and aims to intimidate and militarize the state," the PC said.
