The Presidential Council (PC) of the Government of National Accord has cancelled Saturday as a ‘day off’ holiday on a regular basis for students and employees in the education sector for the new academic year, declaring Saturday as a normal school day.

In a decision, The PC gave the Minister of Education the discretionary power to exclude any authorities affiliated to the Ministry of Education from the terms of this decision.

On a further note, the Ministry of Education announced the return to studies for first grade students up to the sixth grade in regular education courses, beginning this week.
