The Presidential Council (PC) issued a decision to allocate three million and five hundred thousand LYD to the Municipality of Benghazi, in order to address the bottlenecks in the city.
The decision includes allocations for sewage and rainwater, as well as the accumulation of rubbish in the city.
Benghazi has been under heavy rain for days now, as water levels in the valleys rose above flood stage, causing damage to homes and property and forcing the International Airport of Benina as well as other government institutions to close.
