The Libyan Authority of Passports, Citizenship and Foreigners' Affairs started accepting applications for four categories of Libya citizenship as per the regulations of the laws.
The Authority said on Tuesday that the central committee for sorting out citizenship applications started the process for people of Libyan origin but couldn't in the past prove it, children of Libyan women, foreign wives of Libyan citizens even the divorced ones who have kids from Libyans, in addition to the children of citizens who weren't listed in the citizenship certificate with the father.
The Authority indicated that the applications can be filed in Tripoli, Benghazi, Sabha and Misrata as per the orders of the Minister of Interior.
