The Passports Authority signed on Thursday a contract with the International Business Machines Corporation (IBM), an American multinational technology and consulting company , to develop the electronic visa system.
This came within the ministry’s plan to provide advanced high-standards databases and electronic systems, the Ministry stated on its Facebook page.
It also reaffirmed the support of the Ministry of Interior for the Authority to upgrade and raise the level of security and technical work in the ministry.
