Sources from Benghazi said that security officers at Benina Airport arrested three passengers who were on their way to Tripoli, in addition to preventing others from boarding the plane, Al-Nabba Channel reported.

The sources added that the three detainees were transferred to the headquarters of Battalion 106, led by Khalid Haftar, son of Khalifa Haftar, confirming that all passengers were thoroughly searched and interrogated, while some were even beaten and insulted.

The passengers were also asked about the reason for their visit to Tripoli and the place they will be residing.

The large-scale arrests by the dignity forces at Benina Airport fall within the tightening of the noose on all passengers, especially those travelling to Tripoli.
