A member of the House of Representatives (HoR) Immara Shinbaru clarified that members from the HoR for the Western region met Thursday in Sabratha, in follow-up to the meeting held earlier in Zawiya.
The meeting discussed the initial arrangements for the establishment of the electoral assembly to select the new Presidential Council representative for the western region.
Shinbaru explained in a press statement Friday that the dispute over Article 8 has not been cleared yet if it was to be cancelled or frozen.
He added that there is a convergence of opinion with the High Council of State on the irrelevance of the Act at present until the Cairo talks on the unification of the military institution unfolds.
