The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the Middle East said that at least 90 civilians have been killed and more than 200 injured in the ongoing clashes in Murzuq since the beginning of this month.

The Office clarified in a statement on Wednesday, that the violence in Murzuq has forced more than 1,285 families to flee their homes, pointing out that some of these families were accommodated in collective shelters in the region, while others refused to leave their neighbourhoods, in fear of acts of retaliation.
