More than 3,850 families have left their homes as a result of the clashes in southern Tripoli, of which 125 families are occupying schools temporarily, the Ministry of State for Displaced Affairs confirmed.

This clarification came during a meeting of the ministry with the service sectors to discuss the challenges and difficulties facing the ministerial departments concerned with providing services to those affected by the conflict.

The meeting agreed on the need to open safe corridors for the provision of humanitarian aid and to evacuate the stranded families, demanding the competent authorities to provide the necessary support to the displaced as soon as possible and to allow the emergency crews to move freely in order to carry out their task.
