The United States Ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland, said that he held on Friday good discussions with Turkish officials in Ankara on the Libyan crisis.
According to the US Embassy on Twitter, Norland added that discussions confirm Turkey’s support for Libyan political dialogue, and highlight the necessity to strengthen the de-facto ceasefire.
He stated that his visit to Ankara aims to support de-escalation and the Libyan Political Dialogue in a constructive way that returns full sovereignty to Libya.
