The United States ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland, has expressed his concerns regarding any further closures of the energy sector in Libya.

During his meeting with the head of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sanallah, Norland warned that any new closure in the energy sector would greatly harm all Libyans.

Earlier this week, members of the Petroleum Facilities Guard threatened to close oil terminals in the west and east of the country due to a delay in the disbursement of their salaries.
