The US Embassy in Libya has announced the participation of Ambassador, Richard Norland and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for North African Affairs, Joshua Harris in the Berlin talks held on September 8-9.
“The United States joins the UN and international partners in calling for all sides in Libya to engage in dialogue and work in good faith on a credible roadmap for early elections”, the Ambassador Norland said.
“I reaffirmed this objective in my September 6 call with the High National Elections Commission, Emad Al-Sayeh in which we agreed that it is imperative for elections to proceed without delay”, Norland added.
