Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sanallah, has met with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Libya, Gerardo Noto, to explore opportunities for mutual cooperation to implement development projects in cities of the Western Mountain region.
In the presence of Nalut Municipality mayor and director of the NOC's Sustainable Development Department, the meeting reviewed the challenges facing the development program in Nalut, focusing especially on drinking water issues.
The NOC indicated that the Department of Sustainable Development has implemented many successful programs in several municipalities across the country in the fields of health, water, renewable energies, and maintenance of educational facilities.
