The National Oil Corporation (NOC) expected a decline in the Jalu oilfield production to 130,000 barrels per day, for at least ten days, due to maintenance work in the field.
The NOC explained in a statement Thursday, that the engineers and technicians of the Waha Oil Company are conducting maintenance work on the 30-inch crude oil pipeline between Jalu and Waha oilfields, by replacing 18 kilometers of the pipeline, which extends a distance of 152 kilometres.
