The Department of Sustainable Development within the National Oil Corporation (NOC), received on Wednesday, a consignment of medical supplies furnished by the ‘Total’ company, for distribution in the fight against Coronavirus.
NOC announced in a statement, that it would send thousands of medical supplies and items of protective clothing to health sector workers in the central and eastern regions of Libya.
These supplies, sent to assist in combating COVID-19 pandemic, include medical materials such as, a large number of face masks, protective body suits, sterilizing spray equipment, thermometers, gloves and sundry other essential items.
All of the listed supplies are to be delivered to the municipalities over the coming days, as suggested in the statement issued by NOC.
