The head of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sanallah has disclosed that Libya's oil production may decrease to 72 thousand barrels per day, indicating that production fell from 1.2m barrels per day to 262 thousand barrels, after the closure of oil installations.

"There are efforts to reopen the closed fields and ports," Sanallah told Reuters, Monday, stressing that there is no threat to gas exports to Europe, via the Green Stream pipeline so far.

He pointed out that at present, Zawiya refinery will be given priority of providing crude oil.
