The National Oil Corporation (NOC) demanded the implementation of the decision to increase the salaries of the oil and gas sector employees by 67 per cent, in accordance with the interim government decision issued in 2013.
This came within the discussion of the official operating budget for 2019 submitted to the Ministry of Finance.
The NOC also welcomed the decision of the Libyan Audit Bureau to withdraw its objection to the payment of salaries of oil and gas sector workers for the months of October and November.
