The National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced its total control of an oil spill that occurred during the shipping process of one of the oil tankers, close to the Farwa reservoir of the Mabrouk Company.

The NOC stated that the oil spill occurred northwest of the seashore in Tripoli, noting that it did not have any negative impact on the local beaches.

The head of the NOC, Mustafa Sanallah, said that these accidents are not unexpected during operations, noting that what is important is the ability to respond with speed and accuracy and the capability to handle the situation, as he put it.
