The National Oil Corporation (NOC) declared in a statement Tuesday that it was very concerned about possible fuel shortages having lost local production and the closure of the Zawia refinery.

NOC cited a lack of finance for importing fuel and noted that loses have surpassed the 2 billion-dollar mark and are now at 2.59 billion dollars after production fell to123,2440 barrels per day as of March 2, 2020.
