Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sanalla has made no comments or statements during his participation in the International Oil Summit in Paris this week, as a protest against France's biased stances on the current developments in the Libyan capital of Tripoli.

The Standard & Poor's energy information website said Monday that Sanalla's refusal to speak at the summit comes “due to what he saw as inadequate support from the French government to Haftar, according to a source close to the matter.”

About 350 thousand barrels of oil supplies in the west are under immediate threat, because of the clashes south of Tripoli, according to the website, warning that this poses a significant risk to the Libyan production, which stands at two million and 200 thousand barrels per day.
