The advisor of the dialogue committee of the High Council of State (HCS) in Tunisia talks, Ashraf Al-Sheh, said they provided moderate forms for the amendments needed to be done to the Libyan Political Agreement (LPA) in the second round in Tunis.

Two Dignity Operation fighters were killed and four others wounded on Wednesday in an apparent ISIS attack on a military checkpoint south of the eastern town of Ajdabiya.

The head of the Information Office, of the General Directorate of the Man Made River Project, Tawfiq Shuaihdi, confirmed that the sub-power station in the western field at the site of Hasawneh was attacked and vandalized by an unknown group. Shuaihdi explained to the Libyan Press Agency (LANA) that the attack resulted in the burning of the substation, which feeds a number of production wells with electricity. This attack has caused heavy losses to the plant, creating a deficit in the production of water, equivalent to over one thousand cubic meters per day which is needed to feed the Hasawna system, located in the Jafara plains.

The Illegal Immigration Control Agency in Sabratha announced that 93 illegal immigrants were arrested yesterday while awaiting their turn to cross the sea to Europe. The agency pointed out that the raid was on one of the human traffickers' dens in the Tanaybat district in cooperation with members of the Military Police Force. The agency added that this operation was part of a wide campaign carried out by the agency, in cooperation with the rest of the security and military institutions after recent events in the city.

The Chairman of the Presidential Council, Fayez Sarraj, received Tuesday the Chairman of the Youth and Sports Authority, Ziad Qareera, along with officials of the Spanish company, Triarena, at the Presidential Council`s headquarters in Tripoli. Sarraj confirmed his support for projects concerning the youth through the competent authorities. He also pointed out that the suspension in implementing such projects was due to compelling circumstances that the country is experiencing and this must be taken into account. He praised the foreign companies that have decided to return to Libya to implement their contracts in these circumstances, noting that this support will be taken into account in future projects.

A project was started by the Libyan Antiquities Authority to document and protect archaeological sites in the remote desert village of Jaghbub. The team will launch an awareness campaign for 34 days on the importance of Libyan cultural heritage and a rehabilitation program for the antiquities store. This project comes within the framework of UNESCO's support for Libya to protect Libyan cultural heritage.

The head of the Derna Local Council, Awad al-Airaj, confirmed the entry of 11 thousand bags of flour to the city on Tuesday, through the land border checkpoint of Martuba town. Al-Airaj added that the city is suffering from a severe shortage of flour, which is resulting in a high price for bread, adding that 40 bakeries have had to close due to all flour stocks running out. Dignity Operation forces have been preventing goods and food from entering the city for more than four months.

Taha Shakshouki, a member of the Tripoli Crisis Committee, has confirmed that there is contact being made with those responsible for shutting down the Man Made River in Shuwairf, pointing to the fact that they have backed down temporarily from completely closing the water valves. Shakshouki said that the reopening of the valves will take place in the coming days. He also explained that Tripoli`s needs of water are being met by local wells, which are not available in all regions. The General Director of the Man Made system at the Hasawna, located in Jufara, Mohammed Al-Hajjaji, confirmed during a meeting on Tuesday with the Deputy Chairman of Presidential Council, Ahmed Maitiq, that it will take 48 hours for water to arrive in the cities that have been cut off.

The General Authority for Culture in Misrata is organizing the Mediterranean Forum of Fine Arts in its first session from the 28th to 30th of October at the Martyrs Hall. The forum will be attended by a number of artists from all Libyan cities and abroad. A workshop will also be held for children to develop their technical skills, supervised by specialized professors. A group mural will be exhibited by a group of artists participating in the event.
