A doctor, trapped inside Ganfouda in Benghazi with the besieged families, has confirmed that the girl, Fathiya, who suffered fatal burns due to a UAE airstrike on her family’s house, has regained her sight.

Pro-political-agreement HoR members condemned in a statement Tuesday the verbal abuse and badmouthing of the first deputy speaker of the HoR, Mohammed Shuaib, at Tobruk airport after being attacked and forced not to go into city by protesters along with the Head of the UNSMIL, Martin Kobler, who then departed.

Great Man-Made River’s executive bureau finished the installation of the equipment needed for opening water reservoirs in Zliten so that the whole city is covered with water supplies. This comes after four other reservoirs were opened in four places in the city center, Adwaw, Majir and Sooq Jumua in order to contain the water shortage.

OPEC said it will spare Libya, Nigeria, and Iran from the oil production cuts as their output had already had setbacks due to conflicts and sanctions, OPEC members are trying to reach an agreement to cut production rates in order to contain the overloaded supplies of oil that led to the downfall of the oil prices to below 50% since 2014.

IS diehards are battling for their death and won’t ever turn themselves in to Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos forces, said one of the forces’ leaders, who described the terrorists as ferocious fighters. He added that there are some women fighters with them from different countries, pointing out that one of the women asked earlier for a safe passage, but when granted, she opened fire on the forces injuring a good number of them.

The National committee for human Rights in Libya said, in its monthly report on Libya’s humanitarian status and civilian injuries in November 2016, 252 civilian injuries were registered from November 01-30 across Libya including 52 deaths, 131 injuries due to violence, terrorist acts, and other violent assaults.

Seven transmission towers (66 KV) of the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) were uprooted by rough wind and heavy rain at Tuesday night on the road linking Tobruk and Al-Gara. GECOL warned drivers, who are heading toward the areas in northern Tobruk, of the collapsed towers on their way.

Some of the displaced families from Sirte complained about the negligence of the governments in western and eastern Libya regarding their day-to-day suffering, saying they have not received any assistance from the governments, but rather they are relying on charity assistance coming from Tripoli, Misrata and other municipalities nearby the capital.
