After the meeting in Abu Dhabi, the UAE's capital, between Khalifa Haftar, the leader of Dignity Operation and the Head of the Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Sirraj, many leaks surfaced regarding the two controversial kingpins' agreement, with many eyes focused on the upcoming statement that expresses their concord.

A Libyan-flagged vessel laden with weapons and ammunition was seized in international waters Monday, EU Naval Force Mediterranean (EUNAVFOR Med) has reported.

EMSC, a center specialized in depicting earthquakes, said a 4.4 earthquake hit the coastline nearby Libya 66 km off Tobruk and 48 km west of Al-Bardi district on Tuesday. East-based Libyan News Agency cited residents of Kambut in far-east Libya as saying that they felt the earthquake at 11.25 am and had to get students out of classes for some time.

Unknown gunmen raided naval forces headquarters in Zuwara and ransacked all of its equipment. Spokesman of the navy, Ayoub Qassim, said this vandalism is probably a reaction to the Libyan coastguards' capture of two oil vessels which were smuggling fuel last Friday.

Human Rights Solidarity said that 253 Nigerian immigrants, who are stranded in Libya, have received humanitarian aids such as food and other basic clothes before they were repatriated voluntarily to their country in cooperation with the IOM.

Derna civil societies association condemned arrests based on identities and the torture acts by Dignity Operation forces against Derna civilians. It mentioned that 33 cases - kidnap, torture and arrest - have been recorded so far in 2017, including 29 who were taken to jails for no reasons or charges and their families could not reach them a t all. It added that a Derna man, Hamdi Bu Zaid, was arrested in Shahat checkpoint in front of him family.
