Aman Bank said it had suspended work temporarily due to the "riots and armed violence" that took place Wednesday in front of its headquarters in Gurji, Tripoli. The violence caused great damage to bank's building, a statement by the bank said.

Sabratha security personnel recovered 11 bodies of illegal immigrants from different African countries as they awashed Telil shores on Tuesday. They also found four decomposed bodies, one of whom was for a child, buried in different spots.

Libyan fencer Abdelsalam Abujatila won the silver medal in African Fencing Competition for the Youth under 17 in Ivory Coast after he lost the final 14-15 against South African, Christian. AbuAatila started representing Libya since Tuesday as the rest of Libya's team will join today.

The HoR member, Mohamed Al-Raeid said pro-Libyan Political Agreement (LPA) MPs met in Tripoli to discuss the decision of the HoR Speaker about abandoning the LPA. He added that the HoR session where the voting took place was illegal as the HoR itself was formed by the LPA. Al-Raeid added that another meeting will take place next Sunday to discuss electing new HoR Speaker to replace Aqilah Saleh.

IOM reported that 22 immigrants were killed, 100 injured as human smugglers clashed, without giving further details. IOM spokesman said the killed persons were immigrants not smugglers as they are African.

The National Commission for Human Rights in Libya (NCHRL) was dismayed at the HoR's decision to disapproval the Libyan Political Agreement. The NCHRL rejected the decision of the HoR as it slams two yeras of dialogue efforts and national reconciliation. It added that the step could badly affect Libya's national unity.

Libyan authorities have deported 27 Bangladeshi nationals back to their country in cooperation with the International Organization of Migration (IOM). The Bangladeshis, who were working in Libya illegally, were repatriated under Assisted Voluntary Return (AVR) and Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration (AVRR) programmes.

Head of the High Council of State, Abdelrahman Al-Sweihli, met with the Turkish Ambassador to Libya, Ahmet Aydın Doğan, in Tripoli and discussed the speeding up of the return of Turkish companies to Libya to work on the suspended projects. They also discussed on Tuesday the possibility of easing up measures of obtaining visa to Turkey by Libyan nationals.
