The National Oil Corporation and the General Electricity Company of Libya discussed methods to provide fuel to Al-Sarir power station from Tobruk port despite the 700 km distance that separates them. Al-Sarir power station, which feeds southern and eastern cities with electricity, is facing several hurdles, as fuel is not provided with proper quantities.
