Head of Investigations Bureau at the Attorney General’s Office urged Tajura security room to immediately release Dr. Abu Al-Qasim Al-Barouni, the director of Masara Hospital. Al-Barouni was detained over accusations of illegally destroying medical waste and human organs in a farm he owns in Tajura.

GECOL delegation, headed by the GECOL Chairman and accompanied by the Head of Australia and Asia Affairs Bureau at the Foreign Ministry and the Libyan Ambassador to South Korea, visited S.Korea to discuss lifting the ban on their companies “Daewoo, Hyundai, and others to complete the halted work at power generating plants, such as Zueitina, Western Tripoli, and Sirte’s Al-Khalij stations. Armed group raided the University power station in Benghazi after it had been serviced knowing that it had been shut for two years. The group vandalized the station and stole cables and equipment. It was supposed to join the general electricity network this week.

A delegation from the High Council of State arrived in Cairo, Egypt, upon an invitation by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry to partake in discussions held in there to push the political process forward. Fayez Al-Sirraj, Khalifa Haftar, and Aqilah Saleh, have also been in Cairo for the same purpose, but Egyptian mediators couldn’t gather the three of them on one table as Haftar refused to meet Al-Sirraj.

Libyan Center for Freedom of Press called on security departments to help release the journalist, Ali Salim, whose fate is still unknown, according to the center. It denounced the journalist’s kidnap, saying it is a criminal act.

Tripoli Appeals Court adjourned the ruling on the appeal lodged by some citizens against the Presidential Council and others regarding the MoU that was signed with Italy to next Wednesday upon a request by State Cases Administration to prepare the defense.
