The media office of Zuwara Municipality said that the Municipal Council supervised the deportation of 82 Ivorian illegal immigrants via the city’s airport to Mitiga Airport in Tripoli before they are repatriated to their home country under the supervision of the International Organization for Migration and the city’s crisis committee.

The migrants were detained at Passports and Investigation Department in Zuwara.

The Foreign Minister of Niger has said that his country has summoned the Libyan ambassador in Niamey to tell him of the President’s outrage at CNN report that said there were slave auctions in Libya where migrants are being auctioned for as little as $400.

The FM added on Twitter that he told Libya’s ambassador that such acts must stop and the perpetrators must be punished, saying the President asked for reviewing this issue at the next African Union and European Union’s meeting in Abidjan.

Omar Al-Mukhtar operations room of Dignity Operation urged Derna residents to stay away from gatherings of “terrorist groups” which will be targeted by their forces before new military actions take place in the city’s suburbs.

21 civilians were killed and 23 others injured in a recent airstrike on Derna by unknown warplanes in cooperation with Dignity Operation.

Libya has gained a permanent seat at the International Youths Federation (IYF) for the first time in its history.

Libyan young man Fares Labedi was picked as a representative for his country at the IYF, according to the executive board, which said Libya’s seat is aimed at allowing Libyan youths to make their voices heard and to partake in developing their communities, so that they work on a better future for their country.

Derna Community Gathering called on the High Council of National Reconciliation to return to the city provided that the siege on the city is lifted and the prisoners are released without conditions.

In a statement on Monday, the gathering decried “sticking” accusation of terrorism to the city’s men and the city as a whole, rejecting any reconciliation while the city is under a choking siege and air attacks killing civilians.

“We only recognize reconciliations that include Derna Local Council and other city components.” It added

The House of Representatives (HoR) said it had opened an investigation into denying the plane carrying HoR members landing in Tobruk airport and summoned the interior minister for interrogation.

HoR condemned the incident on Monday on its official website.

The plane had to redirect its flight to Tripoli after threats by security personnel in the airport, vowing to arrest HoR members.

Three migrants died and 14 others were wounded as their car flipped over on the road in eastern Sirte while en route to Tripoli, sources from the city said.

Ibn Sina Hospital said it received 14 injuries and was treating them from their wounds.

The bodies were taken to Maisrata or Al-Khums hospitals.

Sabha residents and civil societies organized a sit-in to protest bad living conditions in the city, calling for support for the security apparatuses to prevail peace and stability in the southern region as a whole, including the main roads and public institutions, thus securing the arrival of basic needs for the residents such as foods and other things.

They also condemned looting and abductions crimes in the region as well as the attacks on residents’ properties and the state institutions, besides kidnapping medics and teaching staffers. The sit-in also called for reopening Sabha airport.

ICC wanted killer, Mahmud Al-Werrfalli, has unveiled a plot by Dignity Operation senior leaders to assassinate him, but he asserted that no one in Benghazi can cause harm to him.

In another leaked telephone call with Chief of Dignity Operation’s Control and Judicial Authority, Oun Al-Furjani, Al-Werrfalli claimed that a meeting had been held in Nawagaya district, some 15 km southwest of Benghazi, between son of Khalifa Haftar - Beligasem, Presidential Council member Fathi Al-Mijibri, Allam Fallah, and Mowafik Mughrebi to discuss his fate. The High Council of State (HCS) announced that it will hold a meeting on Wednesday to discuss the initiative of a comprehensive solution to amend the Libyan Political Agreement (LPA).

The HCS will also discuss a proposal to hold early elections under the supervision of a downsized government of technocrats within six months, in the event of ongoing negotiations to agree on the amendment of the LPA in Tunisia under the auspices of the United Nations fail. More
