China has suspended work in its Tripoli embassy until May 2017 and has demanded that all its nationals leave due to the current security unrest in Libya. The Chinese Foreign Ministry warned in a statement on its website Chinese nationals of traveling to Libya and urged those who are there to depart, adding that all those who choose to remain in there to be cautious.

Renegade Gen. Khalifa Haftar has issued an ordinance to evacuate the building of the 204 Tanks Brigade, whose commander was Mihdi Al-Barghathi, and ordered that its ownership go to Al-Naser club in Benghazi. The step is an implied comeback by the rogue Gen. at Al-Barghathi, who accused him of worsening the crisis in Benghazi.

Maya residents found illegal immigrants’ bodies washed up their district’s shores and local sources said that the bodies remained abandoned as no one offered to carry them to another place. The Libyan Red Crescent has recovered over 87 bodies since the start of November from the shores of Zuwara, Janzour, Tajoura, Al-Khums, and Tobruk.

Unidentified men set ablaze a stock for the Red Crescent in Sabha after they had robbed all of its equipment. A security source said the stock is the main building for the Red Crescent in the city and was full of foods, mattresses, blankets and other stuff.
