Sirte University has signed a memorandum of understanding with British Council Libya. The MoU aims to strengthen cooperation between both sides in education, training and scientific research.

Members from Ajdabiya Municipality in east Libya held talks with officials from a Chinese construction company to discuss development projects in the city including ways of establishing an airport, a port and a cement factory. Hun city will host Libyan-Libyan concord meeting under the slogan "We all are Libya" on Thursday. 17 municipal councils from southern and southeastern Libya will participate in the meeting in addition to representatives from southern social components. According to sources, a committee will be formed to urge the High Council of State, Presidential Council and the House of Representatives to attend the meeting.

Libyan Investment Authority (LIA) said the British Supreme Court adjourned the verdict on the LIA lawsuit against the French bank Societe Generale till Wednesday. The verdict was supposed to be on Tuesday. LIA is suing Societe Generale for 2.1 billion dollars in transactions made between 2007 and 2009.

Five armed men, a child and a civilian, were killed and 10 others were injured due to clashes between families on Monday in Al-Shabika district In Ajilat (140 Km western Tripoli). The armed brawl kicked off due to the killing of one person from one of the families, who is part of Tribes Army.

Fursan Janzour brigade seized 14 tank trucks at Al-Gheran Checkpoint in Janzour as they were heading to Tunisia with extra tanks installed to smuggle fuel, diesel and the like. The smuggled quantity was 3000/5000 liters in each truck.
