The commander of Ras Ajdir border "Mohammed Jarafa" has rejected the agreement reached by Libya's western municipalities and Tunisia's Ben Gardane city to resume cross-border trade between both countries.

Libya's famous midwife and adoptive parent Fatimah Kawashia Shiekhi has died. Kawashia died in the eastern city of Tobruk at the age of 94 on Sunday, local sources reported.

Unknown armed group has stormed into the building of the Civil Registry Authority in Tripoli, firing gunshots randomly and creating a state of horrification among both employees and people. The demands of the armed group are still not clear.

Governor of the parallel Central Bank of Libya in Al-Bayda, Ali Al-Hibri, said they have spent 50% of the new banknotes printed in Russia so far. The CBL contracted a Russian company, which so far printed 4 billion Libyan dinars.

Manshiya municipality in Al-Jameil said kidnap, extortion and killing in Wirshiffana, calling in a statement for swift intervention to put an end to those violations. It also called for reopening the coastal road, which has been shut for a long time.

The member of the National Oil Corporation administration Jadallah Al-Okli, denied that there was an attack on Al-Faregh oilfield near Jalu city, saying an unknown armed group fired in the air on Monday dawn 10 to 15 kilometers away from the oilfield. He added that the PFG personnel fired back at the gunshots direction, and then the armed group was not there anymore.

Libya soccer national team flies to Tunisia on Wednesday in order to travel to Congo-Brazzaville, where it will play a friendly match against Senegal on next Sunday at the capital Brazzaville. Libya is training for the match with the Libyan coach Jalal Al-Damja.

Member of Tobruk Municipality and head of the crisis committee, Nouri Derman, said they had found out about the robbery of 500 sugar bags 50 kg each from Tobruk’s commodities stocks. He added that a team from the crisis committee verified the lack of the sugar bags, saying they were replaced by salt ones. He remarked that the stock’s employees did not want to open the doors for the inventory team.

The Salvation Government’s Prime Minister, Khalifa Al-Ghweil, appointed Abdelhamid Al-Naimi as a Foreign Minister for the SG. The ordinance says Al-Naimi will assume office starting from ordinance issue date.

The parallel CBL’s Governor, Ali Al-Hibri, said he was beaten and insulted in front of the HoR headquarters and he was forced to cash out illegal money worth 180 million dinars for the General Electricity Company of Libya. He stressed that the GECOL is a public firm and the law does not allow the CBL to finance them, but they should be funded by the shares holders.
