Ghadames Airport has been reopened today after being shut down for over three years. The airport reopened Tuesday after the service works for the aviation system had ended. Ghadames municipality said on Facebook that a cargo plane laden with cash and medicines arrived in the airport today to mark flights resumption.

The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya Al-Seddiq Al-Kabeer, sent a letter to the Head of the Presidential Council telling him to start using the money orders that will be sent to him by the UN-proposed government’s Ministry of Finance from the beginning of 2017 as per the laws agreed on in London, Malta and Tunisia meetings.

Libyan Ground Handling Company to resume work at Misrata Airport starting next Thursday after some of its workers’ demands were satisfied. The workers went on a strike in the airport in demand of payment of their delayed salaries.

Jomhouriya Bank in Sabha was robbed on Saturday after fresh clashes took place in the city. An armed group broke into the bank and tried to break open the vault and steal some equipment from there before they had done some damage to the building.
