Tripoli Security Directorate condemned Monday what it described “the suspicious movements that aim to shed more blood and undermine state institutions,” calling on Tripoli citizens to stand against to the "conspiracies" and protect their capital. In a statement, the Directorate insisted that there can be no return to armed manifestation inside the city under the pretext of securing the capital, warning warlords not to dare enter Tripoli by force. The statement emphasized that “the Directorate will stand firm to protect the capital against the agendas of enemies and those of narrow interests."

The Libyan African Aviation Holding Company (LAAHC) announced that it had overcome the state of division in Afriqiyah Airways company and proceeded in unifying its Board of Directors. On its Facebook page, LAAHC confirmed the assignment of Board Member Abu Bakr Al-Qadi as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Afriqiyah Airways and terminating all disputes and cases before the courts, which relate to the legal representation of the company at home and abroad. The statement assured the company's employees that all future decisions will be approved and coordinated with the Board of Directors, especially those affecting the legal status of workers and the assignment of leadership positions.

Misrata-based Sewehli volleyball club has qualified for the semi-finals of the African Volleyball Clubs Champions Championship on Monday after beating Al-Ahli from Benghazi three games to one in the quarterfinals of the championship. Sewehli went off with a flying start by winning the first and second set, but Al-Ahli bounced back to take the third round before Sewehli were able to take the lead again in the fourth round to qualify for the third consecutive time for the semi-finals of the African Clubs Championship. Sewehli will face Egypt’s Talaea El-Geish in the semi-finals.

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) reported that it had rescued 292 illegal immigrants, including children and pregnant women from off the coast of Libya, in two separate operations. In a statement, the MSF said that its humanitarian vessel Aquarius rescued two 253 migrants in the first operation and 39 39 vulnerable people in the second one, clarifying that the migrants were found on a rubber boat, 24 miles off the coast of Libya. The MSF notified that the Libyan Coast Guard intercepted more than 100 migrants in the Mediterranean Sea and returned them to Libya.

The Chairman of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Imad Sayeh, declared in a press statement Sunday that a bill to elect a new parliament has been submitted for adoption. Sayeh explained that the bill will take into account the disadvantages of previous electoral systems, which was based primarily on the independent individual system. He further clarified that the bill proposes that 80% of the seats go for political parties and 20% for independent individuals who are members of civil society institutions and syndicates.

Sources from Sabha said that two people were killed in a fresh attack that included the use of heavy weapons on the 6th Infantry Brigade on Monday night, affirming that explosions were heard throughout the city. On the other hand, the spokesperson of Sabha Medical Centre, Osama Al-Wafi, confirmed that three random shells fell on the campus of the Centre without causing any human losses. The new clashes disrupted two days of uneasy calm after the previous attack on the 6th Brigade Saturday, near the city's historical castle. Since the beginning of February, clashes have been taking place now and then in the city between the 6th Infantry Brigade of Awlad Suleiman tribe and an armed group from the Tabu tribe, amid strenuous endeavors to defuse the tribal tension.

16 civilian casualties were recorded as a result of the hostilities across Libya in March, including 5 deaths and 11 injuries, the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) reported Sunday. The UNSMIL explained that most of the injuries occurred as a result of indiscriminate shelling, shooting, and remnants of war. The UN mission noted that the proportion of civilian casualties recorded a decrease during March, compared with previous months, adding that it had documented other injuries as a result of acts that could constitute violations or abuses of international humanitarian law in the cities of Zawiya, Benghazi and Sabha.
