Congo-Brazzaville and South Africa are preparing for a conference under the auspices of the African Union in Addis Ababa, according to diplomatic sources, which added that there will be different Libyan stakeholders, including Libyan officials from Gaddafi regime, attending the conference. They added that the African Union believes that the solution to Libya's political stalemate is via Libyan-Libyan dialogue without foreign intervention.

UN-proposed government's defense minister-designate Mahdi al-Barghathi appointed Colonel Salem Abu Rawi as spokesman for the "Desert Wrath" operation that was kicked off earlier aiming to fight off pro-Haftar forces led by Mohammed Ben Nayel in south Libya. The operation was launched last Saturday under the name "Awaited Hope" before it had been changed to Desert Wrath.

Interior Ministry's deputy, Abdelsalam Mustafa, met in Tripoli with heads of security apparatuses and borders' chiefs to specify the authorities for each one of them and help boost coordination among them, the ministry's Facebook page announced.

Ministry of Finance of the UN-proposed government said the delay of payments for foreign ministry staffers abroad was due to the delay from the foreign ministry as it had not sent the lists of the staffers' salaries to the financial ministry, which added that the head of the documentation and information bureau was asked to correspond with the ministry on the issue.

Zintan military council denied that the city's airport was used in the clashes in southern Libya between Ben Nayel forces and Third Force, saying the airport is not prepared for military warplanes as it is being used for civilian flights only. Sources had earlier said that the warplanes that hit Third Force fighters in southern Libya took off from Zintan, while others said they took off from military platforms that are under Zintani forces.

Libyan Volleyball Federation said the finals of Libyan Volleyball League will be on April 24 with six teams qualifying from round one. The finals will be held in Tobruk. It also added that the finals of Libyan Volleyball Cup will be on May 7-8-9.

Man-Made River's administration said water supplies will be flowing back as usual after the damaged had been fixed and technical issues had been resolved. It said water supplies will be returning to Tripoli today.

Minister of Finance of the UN-proposed government, Osama Hamad, discussed reconsidering the government employees' salaries, suggesting new proposals that can take into account performance and social justice. A media official added that the minister also held a meeting in Tripoli discussing reviewing the minimum retirement pension bracket with the relevant committees.
