Local sources said the Foreign Minister of the UN-proposed government, Mohammed Sayala, is intending to sack Libya's ambassador in Saudi Arabia, Abdelbaset Al-Badri, on the excuse that his term has come to an end. Some observers see the possible sacking as a reaction to Al-Badri's statements that he is not part of the UN-proposed government. Al-Badri is also Haftar's delegate, who has been to Russia and other countries urging for arming Dignity Operation forces.

The President of the Confederation of African Football Ahmed Ahmed expressed his concern about the Libyan football domain saying he understands how intricate the current transitional phase is in Libya. The words came in a meeting with the President of Libyan Football Federation Jamal Al-Jafari, on the margins of FIFA General Assembly meeting in Bahrain. Ahmed said he is willing to help Libya's football domain on many levels, especially in lifting the ban on Libyan stadiums.
