Three powerful brigades from Zawiya condemned on Wednesday the attack on UNSMIL convoy in Sorman.  

In a joint statement, Farouq Brigade, Mohammed Kilani Brigade and Hamdi Rajab Brigade refuted claims of Dignity Operation media outlets that the three brigades were behind the attack to pile pressure for the release of two Libyan nationals in Saudi Arabia.

The three brigades added that the attack was in violation of Islamic teachings, expressing thanks for the Presidential Council for its efforts to release the two Libyan detainees.
