The National Commission for Human Rights in Libya (NCHRL) has expressed deep concern over the media statements issued by military leaders of east Libya and their military deployment in the western region on the pretext of Tripoli liberation. In a statement on Thursday, the NCHRL said the statements of senior Dignity Operation leaders are regarded as "incitement to violence and civil war and a blow to peace and reconciliation efforts in the western region."

The Media Office of Misrata Airport said the normal operations of flights at the airport would start next week despite the suspension of strike by handling and ground services workers today. It added that Afriqiya Airways and Libyan Airlines had both diverted their flights to Tripoli-based Mitiga Airport and they are expected to re-launch their flights from Misrata next Saturday.
