A force led by pro-Haftar military man, Mohammed Ben Nayel, has seized control of Brak Al-Shatti military base after the withdrawal of the Tripoli General Staff's Third Force that is assigned to secure the southern region amid news about another Ben Nayel-led force heading to control Tamanhint airbase in Sabha.

A pro-Haftar warplane air attacked one of the sites of the Defense Ministry of the UN-proposed government in Al-Jufra, central Libya, said Brigadier General Edriss Bu Gwaitin, the commander of Brigade 12 Infantry of the UN-proposed government.

A military source from the joint security room in Misrata said a Libyan air force fighter aircraft bombed an IS convoy of four cars after a tip-off said they were driving south of Sirte in southern Wadi Jaref district. All cars were destroyed, the source added.
