The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) sent a humanitarian aid convoy to families living in the Number 1 residential neighborhood in Sirte under the auspices of the crisis committee in the city. The head of the crisis committee, Fawzi al-Shukrbi, said that the humanitarian aid consisted of furniture, foodstuffs, cleaning materials, blankets and baby diapers. The Youth of Misrata branch and Crisis Committee in Sirte oversaw the distribution that benefitted 620 families directly from the aid.

Sources from the central region have stated that widespread fears are growing of impending water shortages that could affect the area between the city of Sirte and Ajdabiya, due to a large leak in the system. There has been no way to control the leak, which was caused by the attack on the air valve of the man-made river system near the area of "Alwat Hada ".

One person was killed and three others were wounded by gunfire targeting a security checkpoint west of Sabratha. The security department of Sabratha said that the checkpoint, which was fired upon with live bullets, is a joint checkpoint located at a roundabout near the Tawila area, west of the city. The police said that gunmen traveled in a car and opened fire towards the checkpoint, then sped away killing one police officer and wounding three others.

The General Electricity Company announced that their maintenance teams were able to return electricity to the areas of Fassanu, Taba, Qurayat and Abu Gharb after a power cut, which lasted more than 6 days due to vandalism and thievery, which caused an interruption in power on electrical wires and insulation towers.

Members of Dignity Operation arrested a number of relatives of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos fighters from the city of Zillah, a town situated in north-central Libya, sources said. The campaign targeted about 30 people, including children and elderly people, according to the relatives of one of the detainees.
