A big number of illegal migrants were transferred to the shelter centers of the Tripoli-based Illegal Immigration Fight Center (IIFC) after being busted in Gargaresh district in the capital, the Special Deterrent Force (SDF) declared on Sunday.

The fighters of Benghazi Shura Council (BSC) shot down a warplane of Dignity Operation forces while it was air attacking Ganfouda on Sunday in western Benghazi. The pilot survived after the warplane crashed down.

The UN-proposed government’s Local Governing Ministry has signed an agreement with the UNICEF aiming at supporting the educational, health and youths’ projects in Libya.

Libyana Mobile Company said 1960 units for the company have been out of coverage for long hours on Saturday due to the blackout that swept through the western region. It added on Sunday that they had lost 40% of the network, saying the units work well using generators.

The UN-proposed government’s Transportation Minister, Milad Matoug, said, in a meeting on Saturday, he agreed with the Italian Ambassador in Tripoli to start issuing Italian and EU visas for Libyans starting next February.

Italian coastguards said they recovered 8 migrants’ bodies after their boat capsized 50 km off the Libyan coast on Saturday. They added that over 100 migrants were aboard the boat and are considered dead given the current bad weather conditions.

Derna Shura Council’s member, Saad Habil, said a warplane of Haftar’s forces targeted Derna with only material damage. Dignity Operation warplanes carried out several airstrikes on Derna last year killing and injuring many residents.

The Head of the Committee for Monitoring Prisons in Misrata, Mohammed Issa, said Sunday that 1200 prisoners have been released after finishing their terms in Misrata jails of the Justice Ministry.

The pilot who was onboard the MiG 23 of Dignity Operation that was shot down in Benghazi today, Younis Al-Dinali, survived and is now in Benina, Benghazi, said sources from the Dignity Operation Command. Al-Dinali survived last year after his warplane crashed when he was bombing Derna.

A number of angry residents took to the streets in some of the eastern and central areas of Tripoli to protest the recurrent power outages in the city, blocking the roads by piles of garbage and burning tires.
