Tripoli security department said it did not license the demonstrations of Friday, saying it was surprised to see a group of people aiming at provoking division and forging the calls of Tripoli locals. It said it is against the rule of military and dictatorship. A group of security personnel dispersed the demonstration by gunshots in the air as some people held pro-Haftar slogans after they said the demonstration is for ending the existence of armed groups in Tripoli. No injuries in the Friday shooting were registered.

The quadruple meeting that aims at settling Libya's crises down has begun at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo. The Secretary General of the Arab League, African Union's High Representative to Libya, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and the Head of the UNSMIL attended the meeting that aims at coordinating efforts by the four organizations to support Libyans.

Clashes renewed at Al-Sabri area in Benghazi amid air-raids by Dignity Operation warplanes. Benghazi Shura Council said they downed a MiG 23 for Haftar's forces in Al-Sabri and the pilot managed to escape via rooftops in Budezera after he used the parachute to get out of the burning warplane. Up until now, there are no news about casualties.

Khalifa Haftar threatened what he described as militias positioned in Tripoli asking them to get out of the capital before his forces arrive, adding that if his forces arrived and faced them, it would be their demise. Speaking on the phone on Al-Hadath TV, he asked his supporters in Tripoli to keep on protesting to back up the army and police. Meanwhile the western military zone command of Haftar's forces said what happened on Friday shows the awareness of the people in Tripoli, saying it will act tough and in the right time to regain the capital's control back into the country's command.

The Malta-flagged oil vessel, M.T. Apiliani, departed Zueitina oil terminal with 630 thousand barrels of oil heading to Italy. Last week, Asian Myth oil tanker shipped 500.000 barrels to China.

The Minister of Finance at the UN proposed government, Osama Hamad, said, in a meeting with his Tunisian counterpart, Samira Maree, they are committed to pay off the Libyan debts at the Tunisian hospitals as soon as possible.

Cleaning works are continuing at the Tripoli highway that extends from Tajoura in the east of Tripoli to Janzour in its west. Tripoli-based Libyan News Agency said all the dirt and litter on the highway will be cleaned and the trees will be trimmed, not to mention that the road barriers will be also repaired and any gaps will be blocked.
