The Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation in the UN proposed government, Mehdi Lamin, has agreed with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Libya, Peter Millet, to activate memorandums of understanding and agreements signed between the two countries in the field of training and rehabilitation. The two sides discussed cooperation between the Libyan Ministry of Labor and Rehabilitation and its counterparts in Britain in the field of training and rehabilitation as well as providing technical support to the ministry and activating the Human Resources Development Fund. During the meeting, Millet stressed the support of his country to all state institutions in order to help Libya reach a higher level of stability.

The National Oil Corporation (NOC) said that the production of crude oil pumped by the German company Wintershall rose their output to 26 thousand barrels per day with a gradual resumption to previous production levels in the oil fields after a contractual dispute. Wintershall had arrived to a temporary agreement to resume production at the oil fields that they operate, the agreement stipulated that the German company would receive enough production contracts to cover their expenses. According to the NOC, the agreement with Wintershall will also allow the resumption of production in other fields, after they had ceased operations due to the pipelines connecting the facilities.

According to the official Facebook page of the Ras Ajdir border crossing, a representative of the US Embassy in Tripoli paid a visit to the border crossing from the Libyan side. The representative stated that the visit was a symbolic gesture that would pave the way for the return of the US ambassador to Libya. The representative of the US Embassy confirmed that the journey he took from Tripoli to Ras Ajdir was excellent, praising the security measures taken along the road.

The Libyan navy rescued 906 illegal immigrants in the Mediterranean Sea, according to spokesman Colonel Ayoub Qassem, of the Libyan navy. In a press release Qassem said the rescue operation was carried out seven miles north of Sabrata at dawn last Friday. The immigrants captured came from African, Asian and Arab nationalities and included 25 children and 98 women. Qassem added that the migrants were aboard five rubber boats and one large wooden boat.

A number of the people listed on the terrorism list that was prepared by the Member of the House of Representatives Talal Al-Mayhoub, filed complaints with the Attorney General's Office during the past two days. Those affected by the supposed terror list called for the implementation of the law and the taking of legal measures to deter such cases. The complaints filed included a number of criminal charges attributed to the nature of the complainants including libel, forgery and spreading of false news to damage the political position of the State of Libya.

The Subol Salam Brigade, based in Kufra military area, demanded all truck drivers and vehicles to stop movement across the Libyan-Sudanese-Chadian border at the beginning of July. The brigade said in a statement that it would consider any truck that violates these instructions an act of smuggling even if there is no cargo on board, adding that the only trucks allowed to travel freely will be those with up to date permits to do so issued by the brigade.

In an effort to bring together the elders of the Awlad Suleiman and Tabu tribes, the Sabha Municipal Council arranged to bring the sides together and discuss a number of issues related to the municipality and its services, including facilitating the reopening of Sabha International Airport and the problem of accumulating water in the streets of the city. The mayor of the municipality of Sabha, Lotfy AbuSada, said that the cooperation of civil society and community leaders was necessary to overcome a number of existing issues.

The Fuel and Gas Crises committee, Central Security Department of Ras Ajdir and other security services from the border crossing with Tunisia at Wazin have just declared that any vehicle intercepted carrying cement from Libya through the borders will be targeted of balance on the suspension of the export of cement and wages from Libya. The committee said in a statement that the security authorities will confiscate any cargo seized at the border ports that is proven ordered to export. The committee explained that this action came due to the exploitation by some traders and owners of brick factories, stressing that its work is fighting any work contributes to smuggling and raise prices in the local market.

The Turkish Humanitarian Relief Agency announced their intention to dig a number of water wells for the revival of the city of Ubari in southern Libya. A member of the agency, Rafid Aidgahdo said that the Agency has agreed to dig wells and are waiting for detailed reports to provide information before drilling, these reports are supervised by a Libyan non-governmental organization. The number of wells required, places of digging and depth are all included in the reports and the approval of the drilling came as a result of demands made by a number of residents of neighborhoods such as Sharb and Mashrooa after meeting with them several times.
