The spokesman of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Libya, Ahmed Al-Aliggi, said there are more than 5,000 cancer patients in Tobruk city and its suburbs, pointing out that the chemotherapy is not available in the country and that Al-Thanni government’s Health Ministry is unable to provide such a therapy due to the current Libyan status quo.

57,665 students are going to sit for the Libyan secondary school certificate exam (baccalaureate) on Sunday across the country, the Tripoli-based Education Ministry announced earlier on Saturday. It added that the number of students includes both literary and scientific secondary school branches, home-schooled students, and failing students. Exam questions will be MCQs and the papers will be marked automatically, the Head of the Tripoli Examinations Department, Mohammed Al-Arousi explained.

After low water flow to the capital lasting for days, the Industrial River System announced that the amounts of water flowing to Tripoli have risen Saturday to 340m2 out of the normal capacity of 540m2 saying the continuous outages of electricity in the south led to the current inefficiency in the system.
