International non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are violating Libya's sovereignty and are constantly obstructing the agreements with the EU that have benefits for Libya regarding cutting off the influx of illegal immigrants, said the spokesman of the Libyan Navy, Ayoub Qassim.

The Libyan athlete, Retaj Al-Seyyed, has won the silver medal at the 13th African Athletics Championships in Tlemcen, Algeria. The African Union then retracted the medal from Retaj and canceled her result after a report sent from the Libyan Athletics Federation stated that Retaj is under suspension and that she is in Algeria of her own without the right to represent Libya in competitions.

The residents of the city of Shahat were shocked at the sound of a strong explosion in front of the headquarters of a local security brigade. The explosion was said to not have caused any casualties and witnesses said that the explosion caused the ignition of a fire that engulfed the building and surrounding garbage. The fire was said to have spread to nearby bushes and trees too making the fire spread to the main street. Security sources said old weapons stored at the site caused the explosion.

New wildfires broke out on Sunday evening in the palm groves of the Mouradah area as a result of high winds and the changing of their direction. The fire brigades of the Sirte Company for Production and Processing of Oil and Gas controlled the fire on Sunday morning and confined it to a limited area as firefighters continued attempts to prevent the fire from spreading according to the official Facebook page of the Sirte Company Fire Group.

The presidential council of the UN proposed government issued a decision to develop a treatment center for patients of diabetes and endocrine deficiencies in the city of Tarhuna. In a statement made by the Tarhuna Municipal Council on their official Facebook page the council stated that the decision came after correspondence and a formal request from the municipal council of Tarhuna.

A number of Tunisian protesters closed the road between the Ras Ajdir crossing and Bin Gardan city, preventing the passage of Libyan cars and trucks in both directions. This comes as a result of the work of the Fuel and Gas Crisis Committee and the Central Security services in halting the smuggling of fuel to Tunisian border cities like Bin Gardan. The Fuel and Gas Crisis Committee stated on their official Facebook page that all Libyan families coming and leaving to Tunisia are to be extra careful of any foul play by the smugglers.

The Foreign Minister of the UN proposed government, Mohamed Sayala, welcomed a resolution adopted by the UN Security Council, which was submitted by Libya aimed at preventing the smuggling of fuel and oil derivatives on Sunday. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs requested that the resolution included oil derivatives similar to crude oil and the prohibition of export of such products by any party except the National Oil Corporation in Tripoli.

Benghazi Municipality has denied reports of more child deaths at the Benghazi Medical Center, saying that work at the center is steady and that the American medical team visiting the center has diagnosed approximately two hundred cases of children with heart problems. The municipality also stated that during the past two weeks, the American team conducted their fifteenth open-heart surgery in Benghazi on a child from the Obari area.

Unidentified gunmen opened fire on Benghazi Center for Diagnosis and Treatment of Diabetes. The center also suffered damage to the financial department as a result of a mortar round landing on it. The center stated on their official Facebook page that one of their employee's car was damaged by a mortar round landing on it but luckily there were no casualties from the incident.

The Cooperative Committee for the transport of oil and Derivatives gave Brega, and other oil distribution companies a period of 10 days to react and protect drivers from robberies and hijacking before ceasing the transfer of fuel to Jufra and the south. In addition, the committee urged the companies to modify their prices for transport costs to reflect the rise in spare parts prices. The Fuel and Gas Crisis Committee demanded an intervention before the suspension of work, and that work should begin in contacting relevant authorities to provide the necessary protection for fuel trucks and work in coordination with the Ministry of Economy to consider raising the price of fuel transportation on transport companies.
