The Head of the Presidential Council of the UN-proposed government, Fayez Al-Sirraj, said it is time to unite Libya and save it from the crisis it is going through, adding that everyone is to blame for what has become of the country nowadays.

Ghadames old city will host a workshop by the end of this month under the slogan "Sabotage of Cultural Heritage; between a crime and a loss of identity." The workshop will be under the auspices of Omar Al-Mukhtar University of Al-Bayda city in cooperation with Ghadames municipality and US archeology mission in Libya as well as the archaeological studies and research center.

Sabratha mayor, Hussein Al-Dawadi, called Sunday on all Libyan municipalities to partake in a meeting in Sabratha on July 22-23 under the slogan "Uniting visions and goals for Libya" that will be held in Telil Touristic Compound with 60 municipal councils taking part. He added that the meeting will be away from political conflicts and divisions and will aim at finding a common ground for the work of municipalities.

Belgium and Sweden' Ambassadors presented their credentials today to the Head of the Presidential Council Fayez al-Sarraj and the UN-proposed government’s Foreign Minister Mohamed Sayala at the Ambassadors Parlor in Saraya Hamraa in Tripoli.

Former coach of Libyan national football team, Javier Clemente, filed a complaint to FIFA demanding his financial dues that are 2 million dollars. The Libyan Football Federation is trying to resolve the issue by paying the Spanish coach, but in case it couldn’t, it will be sanctioned by FIFA.

GECOL said the second gas power unit at Misrata power plant entered with 250 megawatts the general electricity network after maintenance ended.

UNICEF has launched the Child-Friendly Municipality Initiative in Libya in cooperation with the Local Governing Ministry and under the sponsorship of the European Mission in Libya during a ceremony in Tripoli. The award will aim at creating competition among municipalities for the benefit of children and to raise awareness of children’s rights.

The Libyan Fatwa House has denounced disallowing Muslims to pray Friday prayer at Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem for the first time since 1969 by Israeli occupiers. The Fatwa House said the ban is directed at violating the holiness of Islamic teachings and is an assault at 1.5 billion Muslims feelings around the world. It also called on Muslims to go out in public squares and protest this Israeli violation of the holiness of the Aqsa Mosque.

The Minister of Education of the UN-proposed government Othman Abdeljalil discussed with the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) Siddiq Al-Kabeer Sunday opening letters of credit in order to print and import school books. The meeting saw sending two committees to Italy and Turkey for this purpose and scheduled another meeting next week for reviewing the results of the two committees’ visit to make final decisions about the issue.
