The so-called Omar Mukhtar Operations Room of Dignity Operation has confirmed that two of its fighters were injured during night clashes that broke out with fighters from Derna Shura Council. The media coordinator of the operation room, Abdul-Karim Sabra, said in a press statement that the clashes took place in the southern front line of the city, clarifying that the injured fighters were transferred to the field hospital in Ain Marah town. Lately, Derna witnessed sporadic clashes between Shura Council and Dignity Operation fighters, who are poised to invade the city after declaring the surrounding areas as military zones where all movements were prohibited.

The Culture Authority of the Presidential Council has decided to establish a permanent exhibition for Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous Operation in Tripoli, Misrata, and Sirte. On its Facebook page, the Authority explained that the exhibition comes as “an expression of appreciation to the sacrifices of the martyrs and sons of Libya in liberating the city of Sirte.” The exhibition will include pictures and information about the martyrs of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous, and an archive to memorize their great heroics in their war against ISIS. The Authority held a meeting Sunday with the leaders of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous forces and officials from Misrata, where they discussed the idea of the exhibition and the places where it will be held.

Tunisian Foreign Minister, Khemaies Jhinaoui, said that the "jihadist" groups have not yet been defeated and that they will try to return to the places they previously had control on, such as Libya, using other names, but with the same Takfiri ideology. In his address to the Munich Security Conference in Germany, Jhinaoui said that ISIS seeks to return to Libya after its defeat in a number of places in Syria and Iraq. "During my participation in the counterterrorism conference in Kuwait, I made clear that if we are to win our battle against terrorism, it has to be under the name of "war of thoughts", which will eradicate extremist thinking that attempts to attract young people to ideological distortions, in addition to fighting poverty and unemployment." He said. He insisted that there must be a concerted international cooperation to combat terrorism in all its aspects, as no country is far from the danger.

Volunteers from the Peace Charity Foundation in Bani Walid buried on Sunday the bodies of 31 illegal immigrants who were kept at Bani Walid General Hospital. The spokesperson for the Charity, Haitham bin Lama, clarified that the burial process took place after completing all legal and administrative procedures by the Public Prosecution, the Security Directorate, and Bani Walid General Hospital. Among the 31 corpses buried were 19 bodies belonging to illegal immigrants who were killed in the truck accident that collided in Qararat Al-Qataf district a few days ago, while 12 bodies were of previous incidents and have been kept for a while in the Dar Al-Rahma morgue at Bani Walid General Hospital.

Zuwara security forces managed to seize a large truck carrying a group of illegal immigrants who were on their way to set off to Italy's shores. Zuwara Security Directorate explained that it had received information about a large truck carrying illegal immigrants coming from the town of Raqdalin to Zuwara. The security forces arrived at the site where they found 39 immigrants of different African nationalities aboard a truck with a rubber boat, which they intend to use to reach their destination.  The migrants were transported to the headquarters of Zuwara Security Directorate to complete the legal proceedings before transferring them to the competent authorities.

First Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Russian Railways Company, Alexander Misharin, said that his company is looking into the possibility of resuming its work on the railway project between Sirte and Benghazi. Speaking at the annual Russian Investment Forum in Sochi on Friday, he clarified that negotiation on resuming work in Libya did not stop, noting that they are seeking to be granted compensation for the losses incurred as a consequence of the conflict in Libya. Misharin added that the Libyan railway project was not removed from the company's executive plans, but the return requires the agreement to be adjusted on the basis of mutual benefit, noting that they are waiting for the proposals of the Libyan side on the agreement. The project, estimated at 2.2 billion euros, was halted in February 2011 due to the uprising.

The spokesperson of the Tunisian Defence Ministry, Belhassen Oueslati, said that a military patrol near the border with Libya managed to seize a truck that was trying to smuggle quantities of ammunition from Libya into Tunisia. Tunisian News Agency quoted Oueslati as saying that the security forces fired at the truck and forced it to stop in the buffer zone between the land border of Tunisia and Libya near Tataouine city. According to Oueslati, the truck contained a pair of binoculars, in addition to a quantity of live ammunition that was hidden in cartons.

The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) in Nigeria said that it has managed to repatriate 2114 Nigerian migrants from detention centers in Libya since the start of its operations last January. Nigeria began early this year the largest evacuation of its stranded citizens in Libya, who failed to cross the Mediterranean Sea into Europe. Nigerians represent the largest number of African migrants who come to Libya in an attempt to cross the sea to Italy.
